So Maggie is
One month old.
Daddy tired something
Very bold.
He got a book
All about feet.
We read it aloud,
Oh how sweet.
Left foot right foot
Voices from daddies nose
Maggie tightly her eyes closed.
High foot low foot
Oh how many you meet.
Who would think.
A book full of
Feet feet feet.
Page one then page two
No one had on
Even a shoe
Left foot right foot
Feet feet feet.
A smile from baby
A tear on daddy’s cheek.
Mommy smiles
As we end
Tomorrow night
We’ll do it all
again.
